  I knew coming on a podcast and in telling my story that I was going to get a lot of backlash in the comments. That’s fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. I didn’t get on here to impress anyone or to make people like or dislike me. I got on here to show that you can turn a lifetime of negativity into something positive. To hopefully have this message hit someone who’s been there and have it inspire them. My sense of self worth is mine and mine alone, it doesn’t belong to anyone else. I’m not sitting here elaborating and trying to make my story into a Hollywood movie. Just giving it to you straight. Fact is that a lot of men don’t make it back from the types of situations I’ve been in, so I consider myself fortunate. Everything I said is documented and on paper. I gave it you real and raw and with as much humility as possible. If you want to watch some lame pretend to be something he’s not go watch a Wes Watson interview.

  Just wanted to thank everyone for the positive reinforcement and support. I've tried to respond to as many comments as possible. For some reason I haven't been able to respond anymore.   Probably the most honest and upfront individual I have seen on any podcast telling his truth.  I don’t doubt or even for a second think this dude is telling anything but reality.  And that’s good to have because as a convict I like the truth

  That's a trip. I rolled up to reception in Delano in summer of 2001. We were probably there the same time. They gave me a 32 (months) with 80%, so I ended up with 25 months. Fortunately, I went to Susanville and made it to camp for my final year. I look back at that time constantly. Being a wood from SoCal, LA County, we were few and far between way up in those northern pens. The politics and racial bullshit are something you have to live through to fully get. One term was enough for me! Parolled in Apr '03, discharged my number in 13 months and haven't had anything more serious than a moving violation since. There were times it was tolerable. Fighting fires was actually kinda fun. Aside from that, I hated every minute of it.
