  The bride in the first story isn't just a bridezilla but a Sociopath. "Oh, something life altering and horrific happened to you... Girl I don't give one shit let alone two because MY WEDDING!"

  I backed out of my friends wedding a month before it because my dads health took a turn. She still wanted me to come as a guest. My dads passed the week before her wedding and I called her and told her I wasn’t going because I couldn’t emotionally be present after everything. She started crying for me and told me she understood completely and that she would never ask me to pretend to be ok and if it’s easier on me to not be there she understood.

  Imagine throwing a tantrum because your friend doesn’t want to compromise her values and disrespect her relationship. She still put in the effort to give you your dream bachelorette party and you tell her she is being a buzzkill? Ridiculous. That honestly sounds like the attitude my ex best friend would have. She would become very passive aggressive when I said I didn’t feel comfortable doing something. Respect your friends’ boundaries please.

  That SA story straight up made me cry<br>That&apos;s one of the biggest fears of someone who goes through that. To tell someone you think you can trust and have them not only kick you when you&apos;re already down but also publicly humiliate you and diminish what you went through!<br>That is absolutely heartbreaking!

  For the woman trying to bribe her step-daughter into coming to the wedding by giving her a car: Why are you and your fiancé having your wedding on his ex-wife&apos;s birthday? Why couldn&apos;t you have picked another date? That seems awfully deliberate to me.

  These high cost bachelorette trips are getting more and more ridiculous. &nbsp;As soon as I heard the bride expected this amount of financial involvement I would bow out.

  My son and daughter-in-law did a tea ceremony. &nbsp;It was beautiful. &nbsp;They spoke to each person who had been a big part of their lives, from the heart. &nbsp;These parents are missing a moment they would remember all their lives.

Anyone who hasn’t lived in this kind of toxic family cult doesn’t understand the deep deep levels of trauma and pain they cause! The fact that her Grandparents raised her more than her Parents did and that her parents Clearly played favorites with the sister is all we need to know here.   When i got married my son was supposed to be the ring bearer instead he hid in a little bush and kept yelling &quot;Mommy you get back here right now&quot; as i was walking down the &quot;aisle&quot; with my dad. &nbsp;It was an outside ceremony. He was 4 lol great memory ❤

  My mother died two weeks before my niece’s bridal shower. &nbsp;Despite my grief I helped my niece shop for food, helped prepare the food, assembled and paid for all the bridal shower gifts to guests, helped decorate the venue. &nbsp;During the entire three hour event, she never once made eye contact, thanked me or showed any affection whatsoever.<br>I left crying. &nbsp;She did not notice my absence until it was time to clean up.<br>When confronted, she told me I should not expect any thanks and that I should “compartmentalize” my grief. &nbsp;<br>Needless to say, she is cut off.
