In Sanatan traditions Lord Vishnu is said to descend the earth in different avatars
1.Matsya(The Fish)
2.Kurma(The Tortoise)
3.Varaha(The Boar)
4.Narasimha(Half Man,Half Lion)
5.Vamana(The dwarf )
6.Parashurama
7.Rama
8.Krishna
9.Buddha
10.Kalki
The sequence of avatars is sometimes seen as symbolic of evolution:
Fish → Amphibian → Mammal → Half-human → Full human → Enlightened being.

The words she said in the end: "He is in every particle", is the most accurate understanding.

Vedas are the oldest texts consisting of raw knowledge of materialism and spirituality, though we don't have the complete set as they are ancient.

Ramayana and Mahabharata are epics which show how god faced human challenges and there are lessons taught about worship and duties for people to learn from.
Prahlad does not have many temples but is revered and respected as a great devotee of Lord Narsimha.

Festival of Colors HOLI is celebrated bcoz of this Auspicious Reason - Holika was the paternal aunt of Prahlad, acting as the sister of the demon king Hiranyakashipu. Despite being family, their relationship was hostile; she attempted to kill her nephew by tricking him into sitting in a blazing fire, relying on her own immunity to fire, but she was burned while Prahlad survived.

Thus, Holi derives its name from Holika. And, is celebrated as a festival of victory of good over evil.

Even today, We enact the scene of 'Holika's burning to ashes' every year day before Holi to mark the victory of good over evil. In several states of India, specially in the north, effigies of Holika are burnt in the huge bonfires that are lit. There is even a practice of hurling cow dungs into the fire and shouting obscenities at it as if at Holika. Then everywhere one hears shouts of 'Holi-hai! Holi-hai!'.

Avatar Lord Narsimha shows how protective Lord Vishnu is for his devotees. If you have full faith in him, he protects you at any cost. He loves you more than anything. This shows how dangerous Lord Vishnu is for those who try to hurt his devotees.
Bhakt Prahlad were so mesmerized by Lord Vishnu that he did not have fear seeing this side of him. He had full trust in him that Lord Vishnu will never harm him.
It is written in our scriptures that when everyone was so scared of Lord Narsimha, only Prahlad went to him and asked him to calm down. Then after Lord asked him why he wasn’t scared at all seeing this form of him? Then Prahlad said that he was so into awe that he couldn’t take his eyes off of his lotus feet, he didn’t get time to look at his face. His feet alone were so beautiful.

This shows that A True Devotees had full faith and a true devotee always find their lord beautiful no matter which form. 😊
