I'm pretty shocked any time I stop and think at the age of this people. Henry IV, despite having been always portraited as an old ill man, died just at 45, Henry V wounded war hero in Wales at 16 and conqueror of France at 28, later died at 33, Edward IV defeating Lancastrians at 19, Richard III just 32 when killed at Bosworth... I mean, how early their adult age used to start, nowadays at 16-19 you are just a teenager, while these people at that age they were trained soldiers and statesmen. It's quite impressive, isn't it?

Excuse me please. Im thinking this is what Game of Thrones was all about. That particular novel in this particular time. GRRM is a phenomenal historian. And wrote novels. Sidenote novella. Im just discovering the deep dive he did in mid 90's. Its explosive. Detail oriented and fun. 😀

I’m a bit tired of people saying that the Duke of Buckingham would have had something to do with the disappearance of the York Princes as if he made the decision all on his own. Richard, Duke of Gloucester was the man in charge of the country, the highest man. So the Duke of Buckingham would not and could not get access into the Tower of London without written authorization from Richard. The Tower is a guarded fortress one just can’t walk in and smother two young boys without planning. Maybe Richard did have Buckingham do the deed but it was on the orders of Richard. Plus, Richard had the most to gain from the disappearance of the boys. Richard had the easiest access, him being in London not in France like Henry Tudor. Margaret Beaufort, or anyone working for her could not get access to the Tower without permission from Richard. So the loop closes back to Richard.
