Low-key adef sometimes addressing chat by its full legal name "chatroom" like a parent getting stern with their child is one of the best bits

So now the Adef thumbnail has become a tradition. Hoping for this to never end.

Watched this live and it was so surreal when the fire alarm went off because the tech team muted the audio so we couldn't hear the beeping. Suddenly the game feed is gone and in the crowd cam everyone is calmly leaving their seats. Logically I knew that it was probably a fire alarm but it honestly looked like a powerful wizard had cast a spell of "Mass Everybody Go Home Now."

my favorite part about this run, ~half an hour in, is how the commentators are just watching while adef does all the commentary himself LMAO i love adef so much

I remember seeing this on the schedule as the final run and thinking "this is a weird choice for a closing run. Pokemon runs are a lot of fun, but they're not really the level of hype you want a closing run to be"
BOY AM I GLAD TO BE SO WRONG

Adef saying he can run indoors and smash cutting to an alarm going off is peak comedy

15:05 "cause we don't have like 5 hours" that foreshadowing though 😅

I said it last time he did this: This isn't a speedrun, this is challenging chat to a fight. Glad to see that now officially acknowledged right at the outset! This is gonna be awesome!

The best part of the marathon for me was when Adef said "if that doesn't mesh with your world view, you need to get educated." Love it!
