Which heater kept you warmest last winter?
📘 The 3 that passed, wattage and clearances: https://wendell-vanlife.com/v36?src=comment
💌 New heater tests every week, membership: https://join.wendell-vanlife.com?src=poor-man-en-banco-de-t-tulos-27-07-18-03_v36_comment_a

One small thing that costs nothing tonight: before you trust any heater, deal with the cold coming through your windows. A piece of cardboard cut to fit the glass, held in with weatherstrip foam, makes a bigger difference than most men expect, and it doubles as blackout for stealth parking. Cold glass is why so many guys think their heat is failing when the heat is fine.

Also, crack a window an inch no matter what you run. Always. And put a battery carbon monoxide alarm at head height where you sleep, not on the floor.

So tell me, which of the 10 are you running right now, and is it actually holding through the night?

Very informative video and obviously you speak from experience. I hope you touch on the basics of the proper way to insulate and vent a van. Such as vapor barriers. As you know van walls will condensate like a marithon runner wearing a rain suit. Wet clothes will chill you and the same with wet van walls. Encapsulate the insulation and use a ceiling fan to remove the moisture. I've spent years living in a van in the north country.
Keep up the good information! .... Cheers!!

I find the woodstove more valuable than scored here if you do a few things while it's running: 1. Cook your food 2. Boil excess water and fill at least two large vacuum flasks every burn use for breakfast or hotwater bottle recharges 3. Carefully dry out you next firewood while cooking 4. Fill.hot water bottles into a decent sleeping bag 5. Run flu outthe side of your van to prevent roof dramas. As well, dress smart in layers with clean socks and jocks, drink warm drinks, build a tent of blankets over your sleeping area.

Dipende dall'aria in ingresso.
