Ok. The big question: Which version do you prefer?? Let the arguing commence 😂In all seriousness, I think Charlie just created an all-time classic. So exciting to watch.

I saw a guy on Facebook say that Charlie's arrangement was too jazzy, but jazz is American music and that makes it even more patriotic in my opinion.

I'm more impressed with Charles knowing what planes flew on the flyover

Is it me or does this version emotionally start by evoking sadness, then reflectiveness before ending in triumph?

Loved how he sang what usually is the highest note of the anthem in an almost disappointing falsetto (land of the free) and then changed the finale to hit the exact same note (home of the brave) with full and powerful voice, moving the apex point to the very end of the anthem. Nice move by Charlie

Kenny G not getting any feature on the camera is criminal imo.
And yeah Kenny’s sound is unmistakable
Edit: Hate him or love him. KG is a legend.

Lol today was the day I learned Charles is an aviation nerd. Loved how you got sidetracked and then was like oh yeah...the melody

Whitney's still undefeated, but Charlie just entered my top three, joining the Chris Stapleton rendition 👌🏽

Whitney's flyby was late. That's why they were fast, they were making up distance. Charlie's flyby nailed the timing,,, and a second BONE trailing in full afterburner was freaking awesome!!!

IMO the reason why Whitney and now Charlies version are so iconic is because they didn't stray too far away from the original vocal melody. When vocalists do too many runs and change the whole vibe, it just never works. Yes, both Charlies and Whitneys version are complex musically, but vocally it respects the melody so well. Also, the flyover blowing through the clouds on "Brave" made me feel so damn patriotic. Go Merica.
