  Carl Benz did not invent the internal combustion engine, it was Nikolaus August Otto about 20 years earlier, Carl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler just used it to implement into their automobiles.

  The most dangerous aspect of &apos;driver-less&apos; cars/traffic, operating across a vast controlling network is quite simple:<br>any device connected to a network is vulnerable. &nbsp;Networks can always be hacked. &nbsp;Imagine someone planting a bot into the network system. &nbsp;Then triggers a universal command telling every car on the network to do------ &nbsp;something - anything all at the same time; or some other kind of coordinated, devastating action. &nbsp;<br>Every new idea needs to be thought out to its ultimate function. &nbsp;It is much more important to research and postulate about how a new idea is BAD than it is to try to understand its benefits. &nbsp;Even with the best pre-troubleshooting, there will always be things that we can&apos;t conceive of until the idea is in place. &nbsp;But we must always do the best we can to find ways to mitigate the pitfalls prior to the implementation. &nbsp;Just a thought. &nbsp;🙂

  Interesting. But these documentaries would be better with the resident &quot;experts&quot; who ridiculously pretend to know something about the topic.

  Henry Ford did invent cheap car consept. Mostly cars prices was high as customers allowed. Cars maintenance was expensive part of use it. Standardisation made it easier and cheaper and cars lifespan expanted. Safety issues was not yet in top of list. The roads was important as car for &nbsp;make transport revolution.

I mean research and development would have gotten it to a point where you might not need much water or coal
