Those teachers are some of the smartest everyday people on earth. Small salaries, six kids, and yet disciplined to look out for their long term future!

The secret is there is no secret: time and consistency are always the common threads. It’s the path for most people without the benefit of family legacy

Older Friend of mine retired 27 years US Military at age 47. Monthly pension is for life and gets adjusted cost of living adjustment. He is 70 years old today and currently at $9,000 per month. Doing the math he should have collected over $1.5 million by now and still going strong. Not to mention free healthcare coverage for life. People should not sleep on military service as a path to wealth.

I hit $2M today and officially achieved financial freedom. It's crazy because I still remember working long hours, living paycheck to paycheck, and feeling like I was stuck in the same place year after

year If there's one thing l've learned, it's that your current situation doesn't have to be your final destination. Keep pushing, keep learning, and don't let hard times convince you that success
isn't possible. One good decision can completely change your future.

I'm an engineer. The company had a mandatory 401k combined contribution of 15%. I'm glad they were thinking about my financial future before I was really attuned to it. Compounding over 40 years has been very good to me.

With respect, the reason teachers are rich is that they have pensions with an npv of $1-5mm depending on where they teach.

I really liked how the interviewer talked to the women equally. Women are great investors if they are not being gate kept from it. Kudos to their husbands as well, working as a team and figuring things out together is the best.
