  Interpreting this interview as the interviewer being supportive of the status quo shows the binary/competitive problem with USA media and society generally. He's asking questions that Gary should be asked and Gary does a good job answering questions. I've enjoyed the interview greatly. It's not hostile or aggressive. It's straight forward questioning of a particular position that is directly in opposition to the way things are generally being run and helps to expose Gary's position in detail so we can see that it doesn't have to be the way it is now. It's a call to action and as the interviewer explains he's not defending the status quo. He's asking Gary to explain and giving him opportunity to explain his ideas so we can all understanding it better.

  Not sure he shredded the Reporter or if they were arrogant it seemed a valid discussion, that was what made it worth listening to.

  The Kiwi reported wasn&apos;t being aggressive, and Gary didn&apos;t shred him<br> He did his job and probed Gary&apos;s arguements with intelligent questions and let Gary answer.

  The funny thing is that this reporter is well known to support the Left and the introduction of Capital Gain Taxes etc. I think Jack (the reporter) is doing a fantastic job playing devils advocate which allows Gary to really explain his philosophy. A great interview, Gary is spot on, how could we allow Trillionaires whilst some people can’t eat.

  I&apos;m absolutely with Gary here - I think this was a very good challenge to his principles and being able to defend them on an interview like this is exactly what you (Gary) need for credibility. I think it&apos;s a good interview overall 🙂

  Jack asks tough questions even of the richest in New Zealand. He&apos;s one of the few reporters around over here that challenges the status quo on beliefs and knowledge, and doesn&apos;t go in to interviews with a set left or right ideology. I find his interviews reasonably balanced regardless of who he&apos;s interviewing, unlike most reporters these days.

  Yes been follwing Gary for a while from the US. He is correct but the missing ingredient is political will and courage from our legislators.
