This is not just a video about Joe Rogan. This is a video about the death of curiosity.

The most flak I got for this video was saying RFK and Tulsi were still "left leaning."
https://www.politico.com/2020-election/candidates-views-on-the-issues/tulsi-gabbard/
https://www.ontheissues.org/Robert_F__Kennedy_Jr_.htm
Perhaps they are no longer left-leaning or never were. Perhaps I got tricked by con artists. That said, people just assume that they don't lean left because they are Republicans now. This is an oversimplified way of looking at it. The two major parties are realigning. The Cheneys endorsed Kamala Harris for President, after all. I think we need to stay curious on this topic before giving our knee-jerk reactions as fact.

Joe went from having interesting discussions with intelligent people, to having long-winded contrarians who just want to be different.

Saying Joe used to be curious is so spot on. I also was a fan for years. Now it feels like he's dedicated to being correct rather than learning.

The modern U.S. anti-intellectual's favorite thing to say is "that's not what I read"

He literally went from endorsing Bernie Sanders to endorsing Ron Desantis in about a year or less. Doesn’t sound like a principled “lefty” to me.

I remember early on I thought he had some of the best interviews because of his casual curiosity and was originally not afraid to push back and properly look up the information in the middle of the interview. But around Covid he went so far down hill that I couldn't enjoy him anymore or take him seriously. It's a shame.

In Joe Rogans life he’s a very important person. Everyone around him on a daily basis will treat him like a very important person. The thing is, he’s started to believe it. When he got these ideas in his head about the pandemic and other social issues, he believed he already understood the situation and knew the ‘truth’. If you already know, and everyone around you treats you like you’re super important and agrees with you on everything, Why would you be curious?
