  Some computer model predicted North Korea would collapse in 1992, it was wrong, but theres no way it would not have if they had not so much external support, and so little need for it internally, as the people starve and have no way to fight back

  Somebody else has probably already said this but the Frunze Military Academy revolt seemed reminiscent to me of the Decemberist uprising in Russia. I certainly saw parallels.

  This just makes me think of the line <br>they have to win everytime. we only have to win once. <br>Its a regime that is seriously weak and only hangs on through fear and aggression but if they screw up once, they will most likely collapse in less than a year.

  There´s this video showing Kim Yong-Un and the 7 highest party and military leaders of that time escorting the coffin of his father on the roof of a hearse. 2 years later everyone except Kim Yong-Un was dead or &quot;retired&quot; aka most-likely-dead.
