  When the idiot woman said, ‘We’ve found certain roles that no longer fit within our evolving strategy.’ I would 100% have jumped in and said ‘That takes some guts, acknowledging your own role is basically just a financial black hole for the company and putting you out of our misery is something we will all be so grateful for. Tell me, did you ever actually know what this company does? Because I can tell you straight, since we’re being so open and honest here, that basically no-one knows what you do or why you’re here and especially why it is that you earn so very much for doing so very little.’<br>Yes, I’d definitely be fired anyway but boy, would I feel good about it ~ especially as I’d make sure the session was recorded. 😁

  Loved the “ghost in compliance” vibe, but one thing nags me: if Mia’s role was federally protected, how did HR/Legal let a reorg proceed without the system screaming sooner? Was the tripwire set to “snooze until Janice shows up with a PowerPoint”? 😅
