There was something about Soulja Slimm that no other rapper had. He stood out. He’s reputation in the streets was more like a real I’ve lived this life and survived it. Live by it or die by it.
The Tupac era & the reference I see that in a way that when Pac got as we know got shot in the recording studio and really took off especially with Death Row with that Image. But Pac wasn’t as into the street life as Slimm was. That’s for sure. But I do see some similarities there. As far as his legacy goes. I loved Slimm especially when he worked with B.G. Glad you made this video I was young when I got into the No limit and Soulja Slimm movement but damn he had talent. God rest his soul. B.G laid it down for that song he made for him. Rest in peace Soulja Slimm. It really wasn’t later on in life till I really started to appreciate the music that he had made. And truly understood it. 7:08 love that video amazing music

Pac had a clean arrest record at the age of 21, then started piling up arrests after achieving stardom, while Slimm was a big dog up in Scotlandville at 15, and in OPP at 19.
