  I got my travels in before all this. I had a van, but I never slept in it. I didn&apos;t just rove; I&apos;ve lived in 5 states from west coast to east. By design or by circumstance. I always found jobs, room mates, sometimes stayed for a couple of years, then go travel some more. I came to a permanent halt at 63, when I got survivor&apos;s benefits from my deceased ex-husband. Some places I even recognized foliage growing in the median- ha!<br>Never thought of myself as homeless though. I did have the option of family help though, and that is something that appears to be missing here, for those for whom this is not a choice.<br>I enjoyed my travels. Was I always safe? No. A young single woman traveling alone never is. But to be forced into this by necessity, with possibly children? That is an ominous sign of real trouble in our country.

  I think you need to do a video where you can actually Park since you&apos;re telling everyone not to park where it&apos;s recommended to park that could be quite helpful after listening to this I would think there is absolutely no place for me to go

  I don’t have a van. I have a regular pick up truck, but I have a large camper shell over the top and I had the bed and everything all built out so I have all my storage all underneath the bed and everything and the only thing I have is stickers all over, but I’m not taking them off because I like them.

  I believe these videos are design to scare some and discourage others .<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;These type of things go on EVERYWHERE !<br> &nbsp; I OWN A CLASS B camper van and have been broken into at Walmart in Wyoming but stayed near Chicago and never had a problem. <br> &nbsp; &nbsp; I lived in California for six years and the wealthy are the ones who complain about everything .<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; They don&apos;t want to look at it .<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Society is producing homeless by an astonishing rate .

  That&apos;s why Stewart &amp; Stevenson LMTVs (ex military) vehicles have an advantage. For one, you need to climb UP to get IN, something an assailant will have to deal with if they want to F with you. Besides the &apos;typical&apos; self defense systems keep a well-trained dog that can do some damage when needed, not just a little &apos;noise-maker&apos; Chihuahua that will drive you nuts when things get dicey. Ground clearance is another advantage. that helped one time in a Rest Area near Flagstaff when some &apos;no good kids&apos; tried to block me in one late night. With limited space to back up to escape, there was no other option than to run over the front corner of their Honda Civic, leaving their vehicle inoperable. No police ever came looking for me, which gave me the impression that their intentions were not of the friendly sort and that their vehicle may have been stolen.
