What is it with western legacy car companies determined to shoot themselves in the foot and lose customers? German cars losing their quality, Ford, Alfa, Volvo etc etc

I had two Mk2 Escorts back in the eighties. Both full of rust and gutless but so many memories from them days. There were Fords everywhere and cheap to buy, or get parts for.

My first car was a 1300L mk1 Ford escort. Put a Mexico engine and suspension in it. Amazing car but sadly it split at the bulkhead with rust. Had a mk1 rs2000 too sold it for £1600 early 90s mainly cos I lived in Salford and expected it to get nicked. Shame I couldn’t have kept both. Had 3T5s with that earlier engine you spoke of, what an engine that was. Well done on the 100k subs!

Great video. Great channel. The story about your dad is heart warming. Reminded me of my kids jumping up and down with excitement when I came home in a fast Focus…the missus wasn’t quite as pleased!
