  I'm so annoyed that Walters insinuated that Streisand is ugly.  It's evident in the manner in which she asked the questions.  Streisand is beautiful!

  Streisand is endlessly fascinating. Her varied talents, her unique voice. My only gripe is that she often attributes her technical accomplishments (her vocal abilities, her acting style, etc) to “the will” or “supernatural forces.” She may not have formally studied voice or directing or other techniques, but she instinctively knows how to get from A to B, and it isn’t voodoo. She knows how to place her voice, how to use her diaphragm, how the lenses work on a camera, what’s the best lighting. She’s just a very accomplished artist, and I’d love her more if she said, “I know how my voice/acting/directing work,” rather than “I send my spiritual longing out into the universe.”
