  I think why they referenced stuff in frontiers is since the timeline got shat on and no one knew what was canon and not, so they decided to throw in references to older sonic games so people could know what was canon or not

  The only changes i have a problem with are the Classic Sonic one and Rouge&apos;s outfit. I feel like they were unnecessary, especially with the hilarious implication that Classic Sonic ate Knuckles&apos; island. To be clear, I&apos;m referring to the back of Rouge&apos;s outfit.

  This might sound nit picky, but I liked how the original Generations didn&apos;t show Classic Eggman until the end of the game. That way it keeps the surprise that the 2 Eggmen are working together by making you think there was only one Eggman.
