Love how they highlight the other stupid laws of 1235 that aren’t continued for obvious reasons. The mask joke highlighting the hypocrisy was gold. And the ogre/woman in 30s joke was hilarious

The quickening refers to a time when most women knew they COULD NO LONGER take certain herbs in order to miscarry a child. It is the time when the baby begins to move and can be felt by the woman. FYI self induced abortion has been around since forever and WILL ALWAYS BE AROUND no matter what law is passed and what consequences people face. FYI.
