She was the main reason I chose to learn Spanish. Selena is one of my biggest musical inspirations! I've been a fan since the early 90s!

I cried when she died, Selena was beautiful inside and out, had a heart of gold and she sure as Hell didn't deserve to die. Damn Yolanda Saldivar she should stay in jail for life. Hands down

Oh Selena. You were the glue that held our community together. You were family, a friend, and just a friend from the neighborhood. I wish you had stayed. How great you would have been for the world. I will never forget the pain of KQQK confirming you were killed. The tears never stopped.

I was 5 when she passed away. Now in my 30s showing my kids my favorite singers. Selena is one of them

I love Selena!! When I go to Corpus Christi I try to go see one thing Selena related. I’ve been to her statue and her grave.

Being trustworthy with people can be a good thing and a bad thing. We have to use our common sense and understand something very important. Just because we are nice people, it doesn't mean that others will respond to us back the same way. I truly missed Selena. I have been a fan of her music since 1991. Thanks to one evil person, we never had a chance to see Selena in person and see her wishes come true. Smelly Lares was a good friend. I was coming from school as I was learning the developments of how Selena died. You deserve to be in prison forever, Yolanda Saldívar.😢😢😢

I was not even born and I feel this lost so deeply still!!! I was born 4 months after and I have loved her since I was a child - I see myself in her and this is just so UNFAIR that she did not get to live her life that she was thriving in 😭😭😭
