Oh my. THAT was a movie I never expected to see remade! Looks like it was well done — or at least the scenery was exceptional. The original movie with Mia Farrow & John Cassevettes was MOST unsettling (yikes!). I read the book when I was in high school and I literally could not put down. What a tale of terror! Thanks for your recap. Quality editing and summary.

The only way this could have worked is if they made it creepier. You just can't beat the 70's creepiness. The original was just like the book. You can't remake perfection and expect a good outcome.
