We all know the bass is truly incredible. But do yourself a favor and just focus on the hi hat for a song. Rastaman Vibration will do. Carlton Barrett. His hypnotic rhythmic style, with the little variations, ghost notes, off beat hits, poly rhythms. Dude was a BEAST. And that's just his hi hat work. It carries this band. And this recording has GREAT sound, where its just extra crispy. This hi hat style was clearly a huge influence on trap, dub step, etc

Great concert, thank you ! The Wailers are on my top ten list of the greatest bands of all time. And this concert
shows why. One of my biggest voids is never seeing Bob perform, and also not seeing Carlton Barrett. I saw the Wailers after
they had both passed on. Still a great band, loved Family Man's playing.

I was working at Grand Canyon Helicopters and was BLESSED to escort Rita Marley and Tyrone Downey to the Havasupai Indian Reservation inside the Canyon. Definitely A bucket List Item checked off

Thank you ever so much for remastering and posting. Brings back a lot of memories. I saw this tour at Dane County Coliseum in Madison Wisconsin. Oakland seems a longer set and much better. The horns, beautiful haunting wailing of the I-Two's on this tour especially on Natty Dread, And that riddim section in fine form with that stinging guitar. I can go on and on.
Muchas Gracias!!!!

Marley will always be the best in reggae. He had the best musicians at a best time for this kind of music. There will be no copy! For those who think that Bob is no real roots reggae, I think they forget this guy came from roots and create a crossroad for many kinds of music. I think it's an open minded act for an artist. Music is an art and art is culture. Culture unites humanity, so let's share our cultures and ways of life. Bob showed a way, thanx to him.
