I still remember the day Transformers first aired, that show blew me away. I had never seen anything like it and haven't seen anything like it since. They had the right formula, the right characters, the right voices and the right stories. Transformers was one of the greatest adventure stories I'd ever seen at the time. All of these years later I still get chocked up when I see Primes death in that movie, I haven't seen it in years. I still hear that voice from time to time, reminding me to stay the course no matter what life throws at me. "We must have courage Huffer; we can't ignore the danger, we must conquer it". I think about that comment sometimes, I don't know if Mr. Cullen ever considered the power his words carried or how much influence his voice had. I can say with the utmost certainty that his voice helped push me through some hard times, his voice was like the voice of an older brother or a good friend. Encouraging and confident, sometimes that all a kid needs to push forward and find their own way in a world that constantly tries hold us back.
Thank you Peter Cullen for being that heroic voice of a generation, Optimus Prime will always be a shining example of stoic bravery and philosophical wisdom. The world has lost a heroic voice but not its heroic spirit. Thank you for being a true role model to those of us that didn't have one. "Till all are one."

Peter Cullen is more than a voice actor, his voice became the voice of a generation. Optimus Prime wouldn’t be the same without that strength, wisdom, and warmth. Thank you, Peter, for giving us a voice we’ll never forget. Till all are one. ❤️

While he may not have been tall physically, Peter Cullen was a giant. He was always kind to us fans, even if we are strangers. From the videos I've seen, no matter the question, he always responded with dignity and respect, no matter how inane the question. Young and old loved him, and he responded in kind. He was one of the good ones, he now Rolls Out amongst the stars.
