Mom, Dad, I don’t care if brother’s feelings are hurt. I am not selling my penthouse. If my brother feels worthless, I don’t care. I worked hard for this. I don’t owe anyone anything.

People still have family meetings? Never heard of it. So just because the brother f***ed up his life, his sister should dumb down hers just so his little feelings won't be hurt? Parents like this are why the world is so messed up.

I’ve always been useless. I have never asked my parents or siblings for help, and never needed it. Family doesn’t need to support each other, unless they are paid back.

Problem is too much help goes in the brother’s direction, he is the entitled child who lives in a dream world. The brother needs to stop, expecting everyone to pay his way and get a real job. He has grown up to expect everyone else to make it happen. He always comes with business ventures that never survive, losing the money that he borrowed to make it happen.

Well Mom, it appears he's having mental health issues, so you better get him into therapy. I can give you some money towards it, but that's the best I can do. I'm keeping my penthouse because I worked damn hard for a long time to get it...I didn't bother with get rich quick schemes which fail, like Ryan.
