7 BTS Members' Businesses That Have Been Hidden

Your information is dated and sorely needs more research.  (1.)  BTS JIN's restaurant venture with his brother is old news.  BTS JIN put up a traditional rice wine distillery before he enlisted in the army.  It produces limited editiion bottled makgeolli.  After he was released from the army, BTS JIN set up another company with his chef friend Baek Jongwon to produce and market IGIN, a distilled ready-to-drink highball in can packaging that is now being exported throughout east and southeast Asia.   (2.) BTS RM is a private art collector.  He did not turn his art into a business.  He does not own a gallery that sells art.   (3.)  BTS SUGA is not the only BTS member in KOMCA.  As of January 2025, KOMCA has the following songwriting credits for each BTS member: RM, 230 songs; SUGA,169 songs; J-HOPE,144 songs; JUNGKOOK, 23 songs; JIMIN, 21 songs; V,  20 songs; and JIN,15 songs.  (4.)  BTS V is not the only BTS member who is a fashion brand endorser.  All BTS members are currently endorsers of global fashion brands.  But being an endorser does not mean the celebrity has gone into the fashion business.  An endorser is like a spokesperson.  He is paid a fee to publicly support the brand but does not get any share of profit in the business.  Technically, there is only one BTS member who has actually gone into the fashion business, and that is JUNGKOOK .  He is the only BTS member who has entered into a legitimate co-branding deal with a major fashion label -- specifically, the Calvin Klein Jungkook Collection sold worldwide.  (5.) All BTS members own substantial HYBE stocks, not only JUNGKOOK.  They have roughly the same number of shares which was gifted to the members by HYBE chairman Bang SIhyuk.  Collectively the BTS members form the fifth largest block of shareholders in HYBE.  (6.) All BTS members have bought high-end, high-value real estate in Seoul, and all the members paid for their purchases in cash.  For example, BTS JIN is known to have bought three large luxury apartment units in Hannam the Hill in 2019 and 2025. BTS JIN had previously given to his parents another unit also in Hannam the Hill that he bought in 2018.  Meanwhile BTS RM, JIMIN, and SUGA have all bought luxury apartments in the same Nine One Hannam complex.  The three are currently neighbors in Nine One Hannam.   (7.) All BTS members have successful solo careers.  All their solo albums are million-sellers.  But among the seven membrs, JIMIN's and JUNGKOOK's albums have been doing extremely well in global charts since their releases in 2023.

Those HYBE shares likely lost each of them about $9 million USD since February.  Large institutional stockholders have dumped HYBE stock.  It remains to be seen if they can recoup that stock value.
