Comcast Earnings, HHN Announcements & Universal Kids Resort Full Review | CTM Universal - Ep 129

What is up everybody, welcome back to Capture The Magic! On this episode we are getting into a full Universal Orlando news roundup AND giving you our honest review of Universal Kids Resort out in Frisco, Texas. We actually went and visited the place, so we have some real thoughts for you on whether all that social media hate is actually deserved or way overblown. We kick things off with a look at the Comcast earnings report and what it tells us about where Universal's theme park business is right now. Attendance came in below expectations but revenue was up, and there is a lot to unpack there. Then we get into Halloween Horror Nights news and honestly there is A LOT to talk about. Here is everything we covered: SCARE ZONES Sideshow of Decay: Dr. Oddfellow is back and Cindy has opened a portal in the carnival junkyard, bringing back decayed nightmares from the past Fortnitemares: The Storm is rolling in and you do not want to know what is coming with it Downtown Clown Town: Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Art the Clown, and more clowns ready to absolutely ruin your night HOUSES Evil Dead Burn: Based on the new film, a family home gets taken over by an infernal force and the Deadites are not in a good mood OTHER HHN STUFF Stranger Things: Return to Hawkins is coming as a lagoon show and we are very excited about this one The Red Coconut Club is getting a harvest festival theme this year called Dead Coconut Club Harvest and the concept sounds really fun Stay and Scream details have dropped and it looks like annual passholders AND guests with day tickets plus HHN tickets can start experiencing houses as early as 2pm Multi-night tickets are now on sale, but heads up, no Express Pass included this year RIP Tour tickets are available but the full tour is nearly sold out. The 5 House Tour option still has good availability Back to Hogwarts returns August 1st through September 1st and it includes a nighttime spectacular against Hogwarts Castle, a meet and greet with the Hogwarts Express conductor, a 25th anniversary Butterbeer mug, and a special Wizarding World collab with Lug Thunder Falls Terrace is now closed, so plan accordingly Starting July 28th you can send a Fistbump to a Universal team member right through the app, which is a pretty cool little feature And then we wrap things up with our full Universal Kids Resort review. We covered the rides, the food, the splash pads and playgrounds, what the crowds were like, how the cost stacks up, and how survivable the Texas heat was. We went in with open minds and we are giving you our real unfiltered take on whether this place deserves the reputation it has gotten online.
