Jafar's "You'd be surprised what you can live through" has actually stuck with me all these years later. It kinda goes hard as a threat.

I crack up when Genie is imitating Iago saying "Sultan want a cracker? Sultan want a cracker?" right in Sultan's face like he's trying to trigger his PTSD of that experience.

One aspect I love about the movie that rarely gets brought up, is that Iago has a redemption arc, but isn't forced to change who he is. He's still this cunning and greedy individual, but they keep that to show that you can be a 'good person' without having to be good. Basically similar to the Wreck It Ralph lesson, but long before that movie...

Jafar as a Genie being the classic case of a Jackass Genie who would twist your wishes while Genie himself would grant it without problems.

This movie did have one of the best ways to make a villain menacing even if they can't outright 'kill' someone with that extremely ominous line from Jafar of, "Oh you'd be surprised what you can live through..."

I have a HUGE soft spot for this one. Even as a kid I thought seeing a villain sidekick like Iago switch and become a good guy was super cool.

Jafar's villain song is actually underrated, in my opinion. Also, I liked how Iago actually becomes a member of the team.
