Also, don't forget that he won Wimbledon in 2017 without dropping a single set – that has only happened twice, the other being Björn Borg in 1976.

If only he made this racket and backhand change earlier. I think we are talking 25+ grand slams. Love Roger ❤

As a Swiss guy- I was preparing Diner for my Kids - then I heard on the radio, that he is arriving at the airport and I told my Kids, that we have to go to the airport and welcome him. So we did, eating in the car. ...And there he was...he even saluted me and my daughter and I had a very short conversation with his dad...it was crazy!! The greatest moment. Mirka took care of all the organization. At the end, we where standing outside the airport- and who comes along? Roger and Mirka! with her private car she picked him up in front of the airport- nobody was there - I just looked at him and smiled- he looked back and smiled! my RF Moment!

It was a good comeback but one thinks he could have won more slams. The US open was a missed opportunity in the years 2017-2019.

What an amazing comeback. If Roger’s knee had remained healthy, who knows what would have happened in 2019 and beyond.

I know we now have Sinner and Alcaraz, but God I miss watching him play. His genius is still unmatched - the best to ever hold a racquet.<br>And thanks, great video Mr. Zeb Zep.

He is the GOAT - amongst tennis lovers with brains and discernment there is no question about this. Yes - Novak has won more majors and quite rightly #1 for more weeks. But true greatness goes beyond winning and stats - things like legacy, beauty of his craft, inventiveness of play, esteem of his peers, esteem of the viewing public. And, in those other respects, no one comes even close. Roger won the ATP fair play award (voted for by his fellow pros) 15 times. He won the ATP fans&apos; favourite every single year after 2002 - 19 times. No one played the game more beautifully. No one has had a greater legacy

The biggest difference in 17 was his body as well, he was in the best condition of his life. Plus he played freely. It was a shame Andy and Novak were out for most of that year.
