  One of the worst parts is stadiums will set ticket prices through the roof despite the fact that they could EASILY sell tickets for far cheaper and not feel the difference. Ticket sales are so negligible in terms of overall revenue. It just makes it so much clearer how greedy these owners truly are.

  Ask the people of Buffalo, NY about how they paid for the stadium and the single game tickets are almost $400. I abandon MLB after three players were quietly suspended for participation in sports betting game fixing. I hate cheaters. Now show me pure play of any sport. You can't.

  The biggest surprise is that sports teams often make money from much more than ticket sales. Media rights, sponsorships, merchandise, licensing, concessions, and even the increasing value of the franchise can be bigger drivers of revenue.
