I've come up with a very simple optimization: 1+1 is always 2, so we don't need to write it at the beginning of each pattern name.

Oooh this is really cool, I love how the patterns almost look like rugs you might decorate your house with! (Minus the fact that most rugs are not triangles) I feel like the chaotic and recursive rules are gonna be the most interesting!
