I'm currently a Chimpanzee and have been on my evolution journey since 2003. The plan is to transition into being fully human by 2030.

From what I can see, humans are evolving back into chimps.

Sharing 98.8% of our DNA with chimps is both humbling and inspiring. this story reminds us that evolution is not a race, but a branching path. Chimps are not behind us — they are beside us.

Chimps aren’t ‘behind’ humans — they’re on their own evolutionary path.

Because humans didn't evolve from chimps. We both evolved from a common ancestor.

TL;DR Version: Chimps never did evolve into humans. Chimps and humans evolved separately, from a common ancestral species which is now extinct.
