I'm a lawyer, and let me tell you, the legal aspects of this are a mess. The lack of a pre-nuptial agreement is astounding. This whole situation screams the need for better legal protection for gestational carriers.

Ngl visitation isn't enough. She deserves full custody. It may be Vanessa's eggs, but she didn't go through the pain of pregnancy and birth, she didn't care for that baby when he was in the womb or when her was out the womb. And plus, it legally should be hers. Paperwork or not. It should be a law that unless it's a sperm donor for an infertile women, whoever gives birth gets full custody
