The original Mario 64 was 8 MB. Total. The entire game was the size of, like, two phone pictures. Every time I remember that I have to fact check it again to make sure I'm not crazy. It's incomprehensible to me.

To be fair to 64DS's resolution, 64 only ran at 240p. People play it on emulators with an increased resolution so much that most people forgot how pixelated the game actually looks.

By far the worst flaw of the game is Mario saying "Bye bye!" When you closed the DS. It was always the worst when I was secretly playing DS in bed after my bedtime. God that gave me away so many times.

For those who don't know, the game wasn't just called 64x4 for the battle mode - the entire game would have had coop, and the game still has leftovers from this. Every level actually has four player spawns built into it, and if you use action replay codes, you can actually spawn extra characters in those places.
