  That is a sharp apartment! I retired to a smaller 1 bedroom in Ecuador. Fantastic building and neighborhood. Arrived with solo 3 suitcases. Now I need a 2nd bedroom for the cherished crap I've accumulated! jajaj! Thanks for the video.

  We bought an apartment in a tourist beach town but not one of the internet darlings. Most people think the beach ends at Durrës. We are an hour and a half north of there. We love the view but it has its drawbacks. Tourists in summer and rain with power outages in the winter. Not good when you live on the ninth floor and the dog needs to go out!<br>So this week we bought a small house in a smaller town not at the beach! The house needs some work but we are happy to bring it up to our standards. <br><br>We are two blocks from the center of town. Vlorë was the top of our list but our adventure took a detour. <br><br>You have a beautiful place!

  How nice to see someone like yourself showing what it is like to live in Albania. I&apos;m 75 and am encouraged by your willingness to begin anew. Your apartment is absolutely beautiful. It would be really interesting knowing how you were able to find something so nice and how difficult it is - or was - getting your banking situation settled.

  Love the reboot at 80! You go, Betty Lou! I&apos;m retiring at 67 in December and doing my own reboot...somewhere. Albania is on my list of potential retirement destinations, though I freely admit it wasn&apos;t even on my radar until a few weeks ago. BTW, your rent is about $502/mo, as of today&apos;s exchange rate. Very reasonable compared to Houston!
