  And even funnier about the ribs thing is that in real life ribs are actually pretty good at growing back, which could be looked at as an over sight in the writing, but it’s much funnier to imagine that’s just medics lack of a formal education, and much more likely an intentional subtle gag from the writers regarding medics character and (lack of) medical license.
