  This gives me memories of my childhood growing up in mainland Greece, a small town in the Attica region, before having moved to the UK. Hot summer nights where I’d sleep over at my cousins house, a small flat 2 stories above our family carpet shop and carpet cleaning business which took over the ground floor and first floor. I’d sleep on the hard wooden floor with a thin sheet and a duvet acting as a mattress. A fan in the distance and the windows slightly cracked open to allow fresh air in, which was scented by the dry plants and herbs from the mountains nearby, I could hear the cars from the small motorway just outside passing by, occasionally someone speeding and scaring me. The unforgettable sound of cicadas and the dark blue haze the room was filled with from the moonlight. I remember as a child how great those times were, even if I didn’t get the most sleep since I was always so hot. Waking up, my auntie would have prepared us breakfast and we’d then get ready to go to the house next door which happened to be my grandma and grandads. One would take the loud elevator down to the ground floor and the other (usually me) would run down the stairs to try and beat the elevator to it. Walking across the side of the boiling road as there was no pavement from one house to the other, we’d be greeted by my grandad working on his plants and we’d go say hi to my grandma who was bed-bound and disabled from cancer. Everyone was so tanned but her, her skin was always pale yet she had the warmest tone out of all of us when she smiled. We’d play in their vast and busy vegetable garden with a hose, cooling us down and hiding under the grape vines for some shade as they dangled over our wet heads. At midday we would usually sit and eat and later have an afternoon nap. Ever since those days I can’t sleep without this noise on, it’s all I’d hear back then anyways. I am now 16 and my cousin 19. We are still very close, like brothers. I see him every summer from July to September and we hang out all the time!

  I put this video on my HomePod mini every night. Such a relaxing noise. Making me recall my childhood I used to sleep with my fan before the a/c. I cannot sleep without this video

  Yay! I’m in college now! <br><br>Unfortunately I might have to stop using this video to sleep soon because I have roommates and I don’t think they like this being so loud

  This takes me back to when I was a toddler in the early 1960&apos;s when we used to visit our Great Grand parents in the Deep South. &nbsp;Back then, only wealthy people had air conditioners. &nbsp;So, We had these huge Fans on Black Pedestals and Box Fans in every window in the house. As soon as it cooled down outside we felt it almost immediately. &nbsp;Meeting your aunts and uncles and other cousins for the first time. &nbsp;It&apos;s the small things that we tend to forget that really matter!

  This fan sound is the epitome of the late 90’s early 2000’s for me….middle school football after practice with a shot of Gatorade and a quick nap just hit right

  I remember falling asleep listening to this exact fan. We had two Hawaiian Breeze fans, one on either side of the bedroom. I would cuddle up under my covers and listen to the fans blow. Aaah, there&apos;s nothing like being cold and snuggling under the covers while a fan’s blowing!😌✨

  I could not sleep for three years of my married life because i am sensitive to sounds and my husband snores so loud &nbsp;somehow this sound soothes my brain and i can sleep so mostly this video saved our marriage😅

  I alternate between your rain sounds and this fan. &nbsp;The fan sound takes me back to lazy Sunday afternoons in the summer at my grandparents.
