So in the Toy Story universe, Warburton is the true voice of Buzz and Allen is the cheap voice actor used for the toy.

The fact that this show isn’t on Disney + is a tragedy, this was my jam back in the day

This is everything the Lightyear movie should have been. Bright, colorful, stylized, wacky space adventures with heart and laughs.

I love the phrase "Canonically impossible to pronounce"

From the success of this series, Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle went on to create Kim Possible, another quite beloved Disney animated series that actually succeeded in breaking that dreaded 65 episode syndication rule.

Having seen Lightyear recently, it makes even less sense that that movie was what inspired Andy instead of the Star Command TV show.

It's kind-of nuts how much personality all of these characters have looking back. I mean, you have a no-nonsense princess whose cracking jokes and taking charge, a lazy goofball robot, the likable red alien guy who sucks at his job, and the well-meaning but kind-of inept human protagonist who tries his best to do what's right.

... Wait a second, did I somehow just describe Futurama?

"Zurg responds to every setback by building a larger and even more destructive hornet drone" is a genuinely great gag ngl

As Woody once said:
“It was a great show! Why cancel it?!”

Evil Emperor Zurg walked so that Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Lord Hater could run.

22:33 I don't think I believed in Santa Claus when I first watched "Holiday Time". I mean, how could Santa visit every house on Earth--let alone the universe--in a single night? Then this episode explained that Santa Could freeze time and my little seven-year-old brain went "Yeah, that makes sense," and I started believing in Santa again.
