Ryan did a legitimately good job on the treasure hunt. He even narrowed it down to two states and just so happened to pick the wrong one.

The fact that a Buzzfeed writer found the treasure because of that episode is actually insane.

I feel so bad for the guy who did the ancestry test to find his biological mother, only to learn she had been brutally murdered years ago. And she had in fact attempted to reach him in 1972, but he was in hospital for 18 days recovering from an overdose. At 64 he learned all of this, poor guy, and he was expecting good news when people got in contact with him regarding his DNA.

Ryan and Shane are literally the two People who carried Buzzfeed. Ryan Narrating and Shane just saying quips is iconic to anyone who has watched Their Unsolved series and it literally makes you rewatch it again. Sad that the two won’t be doing it anymore

The fact that the boy in the box case had been semi-solved after over HALF A CENTURY is absolutely incredible.

The fact that the lady of the dunes was identified via her son’s DNA test is depressing as hell. Imagine having your mother randomly disappear and your father never talking about her again. You just think she abandoned your family, not knowing what happened to her.

I hope the guy has some peace knowing where his mom went, even if they’ll never truly know what happened.

To me what’s crazy about people who die, like the boy and the box and the girl on the dunes, is that people never gave up to solve the mystery. Bless those people who didn’t give up, kept going back to those mysterious cases and worked hard to find an answer

Amelia Earheart is such a legend, it kills me to think she successfully crash landed that plane to later die on the island. RIP Amelia

Being a 'doe' is terrifying to me and I have deep sympathy for all of the 'doe's' whose entire identity and history have been lost

One day I would love to see Ryan and Shane come back and talk about the solved cases. It’s important to recognize the light that they had brought to these cases

Ryan and Shane are living legends, their ghost hunts and unsolved crimes/mysteries are the legendary, nothing too crazy and they provide source for their information.
They made stuff that you can rewatch every year, they're amazing, no doubting that.

It’s insane to me how even after several decades, cold cases can suddenly be solved by strangers with a passion to figure out the truth, it’s incredible and admirable what they do. There really is a strong chance in figuring out long forgotten things so long as you have enough hope and determination.
