I was impressed with Bill English, It was a shame he was PM for only a short time. A well done interview I felt by Guyon AND he let Mr. English answer questions without cutting him off etc.

Espiner excels in this format and it's refreshing not to have constant interruptions - a form of interviewing that seems to be driven by trying to make a different format work. While Guyon's facial expressions sometimes might answer the question he is posing, he gives interviewees a fair crack at answering. RNZ would do well to continue offering an increase of views of people not implacably opposed to the coalition government - it might help rebuild trust levels that tanked in the Covid years and since.
