Krakow is one of my favorite cities. The history, the people, the food, it is really worth getting there. I was there in 2012 and am returning with my wife in September 2025. I had no relatives at Auschwitz/Birchenau but like you said people of any country can't forget the horror of those camps. I loved walking from the town through the Jewish district to Schindlers Factory. Wonderful cafes, and restaurants. I didnt get to Wawel when I was there but am going this time as well as Zakopane. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Hi, did you do the trip to Wieliczka Salt Mine and Zakopane in the same day? How much time would you recommend to leave for wieliczka? and did you get to Zakopane by train? Great video thanks!

Every exchange place is called Kantor so that's not very helpful. I would just look for a place with no commission and a good exchange rate. Most of them will be similar.
