  Awesome stuff. Was hearing about alot of theater builders were using this with mini dsp to setup the subs prior to correction software. Thanks for showing this

  I had a setup with all 4 identical subs placed in middle of each wall at middle height and that gave me the smoothest respons so far... But it lacked a bit in total output and the side subs were too close to seating. So I changed it to all 4 corners to mitigate localisation and I could turn down the gain a bit. It does mean I rely on certain room modes for more output but it was the best compromise I could do within the limitations of my room and gear. (4x 12&quot; SVS sealed subs)

  you should try inverted phase on the backwall, with some ms of delay. That0s going to solve all your issues. Check double bass arrays

  One sub below Centre speaker is what i find only good if you have only one subwoofer.

  Great topic! Was just spending some time in the room sim in REW. Question: how dependable are these results in your practice? I recall you often motion that in your projects you end with projects where factors changed , but if nothing changes / no major changes.

  What about a room with sloped ceilings? My room is above the garage. The center flat ceiling is 8ft tall then both sides slope down to about 5ft knee walls to each side of the room width. The room is long at 27ft but width is about 10-1/2 ft. I have 1 seat position as this is my music only system. I have 2 subs and no budget to add more.
