Awid Safaei über Preise, Angebote und Verhandeln mit großen Brands | Inside Creators #13

Writing proposals, setting prices, negotiating with major brands: In this episode of the Inside Creators Podcast, Awid Safaei is back – and this time, the focus is almost entirely on him and how he actually creates his proposals. The most important point of the episode: Never send out a proposal blindly if it means something to you. Call, go through it together, and finalize the deal during the conversation. Most people send a nice presentation and then wait – and that's exactly where you lose out. He also explains the difference between a deposit and a booking fee, which hardly anyone knows: A deposit is tied to the service and can be refunded if the appointment is canceled. A booking fee is for a separate service – you're paid for reserving the appointment. ``` Here's what we'll be discussing: → Why an offer should consist of a package, not items the customer can simply cross off → The analogy that makes it clear: you wouldn't buy a car without tires → Why you should never send out offers blindly and how a closing call works → Reservation fee instead of a deposit – and when 50% upfront payment makes sense → Negotiating with brands: opportunity costs and why you can't be in two places at once → The exchange rate trap when billing in US dollars → Why Awid no longer has retainer clients → Role models: why the best ones are often among your own friends → Time management: routine instead of motivation, batching, and fixed days for fixed tasks → The most honest tip at the end: also seek out projects that simply pay the bills And at the beginning, we'll test each other with the Youth Word of the Year 2026. Inside Creators is the podcast by Sofia, Alex, and Jonas – three friends with real insights into the content business. Honest, personal, and unfiltered.
