  It's hard for the younger generation to realize just how famous he was.   Before the internet.   Before cable TV.     He was  huge.

  I knew a man who was a janitor in a civic center in the 1970's. Elvis was scheduled to play there one night. The man was cleaning the seats during the afternoon before the show. He sat down to take a break and someone sat down beside him. He turned to see Elvis himself, who decided to take a break from soundcheck. This man and Elvis chatted for a few minutes. The janitor later recounted that of all the famous people he had met in his job, Elvis was the "least famous, most famous person". Larger than life but humble beyond belief.

  This reminds people that Elvis was a human like all of us. He wasn't some God, he was just a guy like you and me. But he left a hell of an impact

  Poor Guy. He was surrounded by a bunch of meal tickets that would laugh when he laughed.They didn't care for him, just his money.

  Elvis was a good son.<br>A good father.<br>He served his country.<br>He made many millions of people happy.<br>He helped people who were down.<br>He never judged anyone.<br>So don&apos;t judge him.

  I hardly paid any attention to Elvis when I was younger , but now that I am in my mid 50’s , and have lately watched tons of videos on Elvis , on YouTube, I have become a big fan of his . What a charismatic talented showman he was ! He certainly was worthy of being called the King of rock n roll .

  If Elvis&apos;s mother hadn&apos;t died when he was younger I think his life may have turned out different. I don&apos;t believe he was ever the same after she was gone.

  He seemed like such a down to earth kind of guy. Great sense of humor and humble. So heartbreaking all of the things he went through.
