I used to be afraid of clowns as a child. Now I'm a certified clussy enjoyer.

Your channel feels like a breath of fresh air, your channel feels like a personal project of yours that you're sharing with us and you can tell you genuinely care about making good videos

When your parents show you The Blair Witch Project, tell you its a real documentary, you live out in the middle of the woods, and your bed is next to the window.

Also, my personal worst fear is dementia. We are shaped by our memories. We ARE our memories. Having those stripped away during your final years feels to me like having your soul torn to shreds excruciatingly slow while still alive.

Honestly the toilet fear thing is perfectly reasonable. Just like the "person standing over your bed" thing, it reflects a fear of someone attacking you when you're most vulnerable.

Ik he was a bad person with horrible beliefs but H.P. Lovecraft's work was a big influence on what I find scary.

When I was 9 my father was reading Call of Cthulhu and I asked my father what it was about he explained the story I wasn't scared rather slightly disturbed and being curious I asked him what made it scary so he began to explain the horror wasn't just the appearance of Cthulhu it was that he was something so powered a something I could never understand

And I have to mention that my parents would always explain everything to me, if there was a question I had they answered no questions asked. So as you can guess that scared the shit out of me the idea that no matter how much I tried I could never understand it broke me

I'm now 19 and have a big soft spot for cosmic and religious horror

I’m nearly 20 years old and I still sleep completely under the covers because I’m too scared of seeing something standing over me. I also get really uncomfortable seeing corners because I’m terrified of seeing someone peeking around the corner

The thing with The Grudge is so extremely specific but somehow I had a phase like that too. For me, horror is kind of one of the most versatile storytelling tools out there, so, even when I reached a point in which I'm pretty sure horror films can't scare me anymore, early this month I watched Smile and it managed to shake me.

Also, I still can't get through the first Subnautica game, because my monkey brain just can't get over the fear of watery depths.
