I knew that very few or in fact none will pick up this news from National Media. His homecoming is a significant event. Sekhar Ji, you are a master of your profession. Hats Off.

No one in the Indian Media follows North East India. This is a shame.

I disagree with the Shekhar ji view on many things, but to know about the North East, we can go to Shekhar ji.

Shekhar ji, you should find someone in The Print, who has the same passion about the North East as you do.

Thanks for this episode.🙏

Thousands died as a result. Till date more than 1 lac Nagas have perished due to this conflict.

Why did India needed to have violent approach instead of a diplomatic one? There is no hatred towards India or Burma for that matter. The 9 Point agreement should have been a good start, in my opinion and slowly things would have fallen in place.

A joint defense as far as the border areas are concern and same for External matters and just leave the internal matters to the Nagas could be another approach. Once trust if build, all develop[mental works, natural resource exploration, foreign investment can steadily help everyone progress.

Again, military approach by the then Nehru guv. was a blunder. Prayers for the present Indian leadership for an early favorable solution.
