Even now, people are not wise enough to understand mental health issues. I was away from home, and everyone just kept blaming him for being drunk or drugged. Even my parents told me on the phone that he was talking nonsense because he might be smoking different substances. It was only after his death that I rushed home and found out exactly what had happened. He had been saying that everyone was plotting to kill him. He even blocked everyone&apos;s number and sometimes kept his door locked for multiple days, eating only occasionally. After three weeks of experiencing these severe symptoms, constantly saying everyone was trying to kill him and suffocating under the pressure, he hanged himself. My only regret is that I wasn&apos;t there for him, as I was the only person who would have understood that it was a mental health issue. I just hope the world becomes educated enough to understand these things.

  I am from Junagadh. Parveen was my auntie&apos;s classmate at Government High School. My aunt used to tell us that her dressing style was fashionable even at that era.
