  The problem with ban messages is that it gives cheat devs info on how to improve their methods, transparency is a double edged sword.<br><br>I think the only solution that might work is to specify when it’s an integrity ban(smurfing, bought accounts, account sharing, queue manipulation, win trading etc) vs a hacking ban, you could also only specify for accounts that are like of a certain age or level like 2+ years or 200+ level so only highly trusted accounts would get that info<br><br><br>Also banning people who cheat in other games is based because cheaters shouldn’t get to enjoy any game, also statistically if you cheat in one game you probably cheat in more.<br><br>Smurfing arguably ruins competition more than hacking because losing to some dude blatantly hacking doesn’t really feel bad but losing to a pro player does feel worse because he DID outplay you, even if you weren’t supposed to play against each other.

  hmm its almost like the samething that happened to me a while back... us nobodys have no chance of getting unbanned. My case went on for a year with ubisoft no updates no nothing, then just case closed. its fine tho Ive already moved on from the game. Lost my 10 year old account and got no help from ANYBODY.

  Correction: having an alt account is NOT against TOS, but SMURFING is. basically every pro player has multiple alts, which ubi knows about and has allowed for the entire history of siege.<br>however, even if they changed their minds and are now banning every alt account, that still doesn&apos;t explain the multitudes of main accounts being banned.

  anti cheat devs are starting to cut corners more and more recently. i personally know somebody who owns a medium/large Rust server and they bought a new gaming laptop so that they could still run their server effectively while away on a trip, the anti cheat banned their admin account that has only ever played on his own server. this account being banned on the laptop means that the laptop is essentially a brick now because if he uses any other account to moderate the server on that laptop, it too will get banned for attempted evading...
