I remember when this flood happened. People from all over the world turned up to dig the mud and hope to find and preserve all the treasures of the city. I was too young to go but I still wish I could have.

Totally fascinating! I’m a bit shocked that the preservation of the Medici family was not given more attention, they shaped so much of Tuscan, Florence history. It is a reminder that nothing, not every wealth and greatness, can stand against time. Grazie Mille for your videos💙
