  My Beko fridge/freezer is running fine at ten years plus of use! But my Beko washing machine id kaput at just seven years old - and with light, single-person use. It's a lottery!

  My late mum bought a Beko fridge and Beko freezer- both lasted over 20 years, and were only scrapped because nobody wanted them. She would have bought the cheapest she could. I bought a mid-market Liebherr fridge freezer, and it has failed twice. I suspect the electronics, because it restarted itself. Trouble is, though it is currently working well, I don't really trust it.

  I have a Beko fridge freezer with water dispenser, for over 18years now. I have broke the front cover to the shelf in the freezer and doesn't seem to make any difference. 5 years in a single skin garage with no issues.

  My mum has <br>the second spare fridge <br>Calex from 1984,<br>perfectly working without any problems <br>or repairs.<br>The only problem <br>is its higher noise <br>level in comparison <br>to her main Siemens,<br>and of course,<br>electricity consumption.

  I would agree regarding Becco fridges, I’ve had mine for ages push it to the extreme, often fridge freezer jam packed with product certainly recommend.

  Ex refrigeration engineer here, the best compressors ever fitted were Frigidaire metermiser compressors , they were around 30yrs+ ago and they hardly even broke down . The best compressors nowadays are Danfoss but you rarely see them on modern day Fridges or freezers.

  I just brought a new lg Fridge Freezer &nbsp;and its rated at C. &nbsp;( Model number GBBS524CPY) Its got an inverter compresser. &nbsp;Its a lot quieter than my old one. &nbsp;I&apos;m not sure if its on most of the time and in a small falt this is important. &nbsp;No issues with my old Bosh either, its still working after 12 years. &nbsp;I only replaced it cos it looks a bit tatty now, rust in some parts of the door and the seal look a little worn. &nbsp;In the the end it comes down to two things, how long before you replace it due to ware and tear. &nbsp;And if you want something better with new tec, you have to pay for it.

  Thank you. This is very useful as I need to replace my failing Bosch fridge/freezer. However my choice will be between Beko and Blomberg. There is reliable evidence that Hisense uses forced labour in its manufacturing, mainly of the oppressed Uyghur people. I believe that imports of their goods should be banned until they can prove that they have changed this policy.

  Funny, Hisense TVs usually only last the warranty period then go wrong.

  I saw another of these videos and Beko was not rated at all, Hisense was not mentioned and nor was Blomberg. <br><br>I ended up buying a Liebherr and have signed up to a 10 year Guarantee.
