  At Close Range is another great 80s movie that very few have seen. Sean Penn and Christopher Walken are both brilliant.

  Near Dark and River's Edge were both VHS rentals when all the "good" movies were rented out...they both blew me away!

  Streets of Fire is 80s AWESOME to the MAX! I know every song by heart. Damn shame people didn’t get it.

  I was 12 years old when the Streets of Fire came out and I thought it was on fire!! This is a travesty that it got buried like it did but then again I'm glad I didn't go mainstream because it's cooler when it's Underground. And it gives you a special place in your heart for these actors and actresses that become big you kind of feel like you're from the same neighborhood

  I am as old as &quot;To Live and Die in LA&quot; and I just found out recently that the movie even exists. &nbsp;Not sure why, it&apos;s a great movie.

  BLOOD SIMPLE is the debut of The Coen Brothers and it was shot in 44 days for a final total cost of $1 million with like 60 investors and it&apos;s BRILLIANT ! You have to see more than once, you won&apos;t catch it all on one look. my favorite movie!!

  Having graduated HS in 1985, these were many of my regulars in HS and college on VHS then Cinemax and HBO when they would play multiple times a day. &nbsp;After Hours is the one that really got to &nbsp;me as it made me overly anxious and uncomfortable every time I watched (least watchedof the group)...but it was a masterpiece.

  Manhunter had one of the best depictions of an anxiety attack I’ve ever seen in film.
